Job summary

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, soldering, cable repair, and debug PCB assemblies, documenting actions and providing reports. On-site work required with extended hours to meet range schedules.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant electronics maintenance experience.
• Ability to repair cables and fabricate harnesses.
• Document maintenance actions and generate reports.
• Comfortable working 100% on-site in a technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain undersea tracking range support systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electronic, acoustic, video, mechanical, and electro-hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies, including circuit cards/boards and cabling.
• Perform cable repair and fabrication as required.
• Conduct soldering and board-level troubleshooting.
• Verify systems operability and document all maintenance actions.
• Maintain weekly Operations & Maintenance Logs and provide monthly failure trend analysis reports.
• Backup system software and perform upgrades for range systems.
• Provide dockside and underway shipboard technical support for Fleet Validation/Verification and Range Test events.
• Support communications/radio equipment as needed (EKMS training provided).
• Assist in parts research using Government databases.
• Support design, development, fabrication, and assembly of test equipment and components.
• Provide extended technical support in alignment with range schedules.
