Qualifications

NDT Global is a leading provider of diagnostic inspection solutions, advanced data analysis, and integrity assessment services for energy-sector infrastructure assets. The company specializes in ultrasonic inspection technologies such as Pulse Echo, Pitch-and-Catch, and Phased Array, along with other non-ultrasonic technologies like Inertial Measurement Units.

Purpose

The Electronics Technician will assemble, maintain, repair, update, and test electrical components of inspection robot modules and other equipment to ensure operational readiness. The role requires working independently with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Repair, maintain, and assemble complex robot components
  • Modify and rework robot components per Engineer Change Orders
  • Perform and evaluate functional tests of components and approve system logs
  • Support and provide feedback for new designs
  • Lead failure diagnosis and troubleshooting of tool inspections
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Technical degree or certification in electronics or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Electronics Technician
  • Experience with measuring equipment such as oscilloscopes
  • Experience in laboratory or small-scale testing
  • Forklift and overhead crane certification preferred
  • Experience with FTP communication for macros and application programming
  • High degree of independence and quick learner
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with documentation skills
  • Experience in diverse, international environments preferred
  • Proficiency in English and local language

Work Environment

  • Office and warehouse settings
  • Occasional work near mechanical and environmental noise
  • Manual handling up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent manual dexterity tasks
  • Occasional bending, crouching, kneeling, or crawling
