Qualifications

Perform routine and preventive maintenance inspections on electronic systems.
Install and modify Life Safety and fire detection systems.
Support daily functions in the Life Safety / Electronics-Specialty Shop.

Position Overview:

Electronic Specialist Journey (Fire Alarm Tech)
This position serves as a team member of the Life Safety / Electronics-Specialty Shop and supports the mission in the section's daily functions and responsibilities, which include but are not limited to performing routine and preventive maintenance (PM) inspections on Life Safety, Fire Detection and Suppression systems, Security, CCTV, Equipment Monitoring Systems, and other miscellaneous electronic systems and subsystems. Also installs and / or makes modifications to Life Safety, fire detection and suppression systems, Card Access, Security, CCTV, and Equipment Monitoring Systems.
As far as tools - May be asked to use a multi-meter, general hand tools (screw drivers, pliers, wrenches, ECT).
Will provide with generic safety glasses and hearing protection.

Pay Rate: $26.44 / Hour
