Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command in Patuxent River, Maryland is seeking a SALES ASSOCIATE - ELECTRONICS (FLEX) to be the face of our store and help customers understand our products and services. You will learn product features, assist customers, and maintain store appearance, while upselling and cross-selling with courtesy and accuracy.

Training is provided; high school diploma preferred; retail experience not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn product features and articulate them professionally.
• Strong reading and interpretation of procedural/ safety information.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and assess their needs.
• Maintain store appearance and organize fixtures.
• Cross-sell and upsell products based on customer needs.
• Process transactions accurately using POS system and handle cash.
• Manage inventory and ticketing; participate in periodic inventories.
• Adhere to assigned work schedule and follow through on tasks.
