Job summary

Econolite Group is seeking a Quality Inspector in San Diego, CA. You will perform testing and inspection of materials and products across production stages to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities include recording test data, supporting deviation reporting, and assisting in process improvements. Candidates should have 3+ years of experience, knowledge of SMT and through-hole assembly, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a quality inspector.
• Strong understanding of electronic assembly processes, SMT, and through-hole technologies.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and production tracking tools.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, D365 and ShopVue preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Carries out testing and inspection of materials and products to quality standards.
• Registers statistical test data to aid in quality control.
• Handles rejected lots and supports corrective action.
• Captures information for control charts and analyzes trends.
• Informs supervisor of deviations and participates in process improvements.
• Assists in transferring products and evaluating during new introductions.
• Receives and documents RMAs/RA materials for inspection.
