Job summary

NEOTech in Los Angeles seeks an In-Process Inspector to verify workmanship and process conformance at SMT, Wave, and Selective Soldering steps. You will inspect, document results, and approve or rework products per IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.

Responsibilities include material inspection, ERP-recorded verification, and adhering to ISO quality and safety standards in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing cell.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspection on product being processed through the work cell, specifically at SMT, Wave and Selective Soldering operations.
• Inspect product being processed through work cell according to in-process inspector training and IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001 workmanship standards.
• Inspect and approve incoming materials via specifications, visual and measurement tests, and ERP system records.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs as applicable.
• Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
• Stop processes if non-conforming and communicate with Production Supervisor and engineering.
• Support ISO standards related to quality, environment, health, safety and security.
