Job summary

CorTech International is seeking a diligent Electronics Inspector to perform in-process and final inspection of electronic subassemblies and systems. You will use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy and ensure conformance to IPC-A-610 and JSTD-001 standards.

Responsibilities include examining wiring layouts, comparing parts to bill of materials, and recording defect data. A high school diploma or GED with 3–6 years of related experience is required; J-STD-001

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3–6 years electronics inspection experience.
• Some mechanical inspection experience preferred.
• J-STD-001 Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine layout and installation of wiring, cables, subassemblies for assembly errors.
• Compare assembly with parts list to detect missing hardware.
• Visually inspect joints, wires, and cables for solder defects.
• Measure parts for conformance to specified dimensions.
• Record inspection data such as serial numbers, defect types and rework needed.
• Witness in-process and acceptance testing of assemblies and systems.
