Job summary

NEOTech in Longmont, CO is seeking an in-process inspector to perform quality checks at SMT, Wave, and Selective Soldering stages, ensuring adherence to IPC standards and proper documentation of results. The role requires a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of electronics manufacturing experience.

Familiarity with measuring devices and GD&T is a plus; a detail-oriented, team-focused candidate is preferred.

Qualifications

IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and IPC-600 standards knowledge required.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
High attention to detail and sense of urgency.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Experience with measuring devices or GD&T is a plus.

Responsibilities

Adhere to all ESD requirements and board handling.
Follow MSD handling requirements based on MSL levels.
Verify process compliance to document control procedures.
Examine product to verify conformance to workmanship standards.
Inspect and approve incoming materials, reject nonconforming items.
Inspect product per in-process inspector training and IPC standards.
Document inspection results by completing reports and logs.
Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
Approve finished material by confirming specs and re-work when needed.
Stop processes and communicate with Production Supervisor/engineering on non-conforming assemblies.
Support ISO standards related to Quality, Environment, Health, Safety and Security.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
