CorTech International is seeking a diligent Electronics Inspector to perform in-process and final inspection of electronic subassemblies and systems. You will use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy and ensure conformance to IPC-A-610 and JSTD-001 standards.
Responsibilities include examining wiring layouts, comparing parts to bill of materials, and recording defect data. A high school diploma or GED with 3–6 years of related experience is required; J-STD-001
Primarily performs in process and final inspection of new and repaired sub assemblies, assemblies, and electronic systems. Using standard inspection devices and/or elementary testing equipment, and following prescribed inspection procedures, sets up, checks and visually inspects bench-assembled production components and subassemblies for conformance to predetermined electronic standards, specifications or tolerances in accordance with IPC-A-610 and JSTD-001. Works from production schematics, drawings, shop orders, specifications, and blueprints and uses precision measuring instruments to check dimensional accuracy of products. Does all type of electronic inspection, and some mechanical inspection, for Receiving, In-process, and Final Inspection.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and 3 to 6 years related electronics inspection experience and some mechanical inspection experience required.
J-STD-001 Certification preferred.
LEVEL 3: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations. Ability to communicate in English.
Must be able to adequately communicate with coworkers. Good written and verbal communication skills in English required.
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner, pay close attention to detail, and produce high level of accuracy.
