Job summary

Molex's Electronics Manufacturing facility seeks a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a team of production associates and technicians, drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and support startup readiness of a new facility.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to establish processes, standard work, and training, while coaching staff and improving performance as operations scale.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• 1+ year of experience in a leadership, supervisory, or team lead role.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing metrics and production processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and engage a team of hourly production employees, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency.
• Support the startup and operational readiness of the new manufacturing facility, including implementation of production processes, workflows, and operating standards.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and other teams to support equipment installation, production readiness, and process implementation.
• Help establish effective shop-floor routines, standard work, training, and performance expectations as operations ramp up.
• Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the production floor.
• Monitor production KPIs and adjust staffing or workflow to meet targets without compromising quality or safety.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members to drive skill development and engagement.
• Identify and resolve production challenges during startup and ongoing operations while driving sustainable process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
