Job summary

Rodelco Electronics on Long Island, NY, is seeking a full-time Material Handling Associate to support military and defense electronics manufacturing. The role covers shipping/receiving, stockroom inventory control, and kit preparation for assembly operations, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in electronics manufacturing, proficiency with Outlook and Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
• Previous experience working with management in an administrative capacity.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent time management, communications and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform the physical and administrative tasks associated with shipping, receiving, storing, kitting and distributing parts and supplies.
• Verify incoming packages against purchase orders and invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining the stockroom and ensure materials are properly stored and readily accessible.
• Accurately issue parts and materials and prepare complete production kits for assembly operations.
• Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records and prepare routine reports.
• Provide administrative support to the Purchasing and Quality departments.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
