Job summary

Spectra-Tech Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a Material Handler 1 in Ohio to support inbound receipt and outbound shipment of electronic components. You will inspect items for quality, log them into inventory systems, and ensure proper packaging to protect against transit damage.

Experience in electronics or inventory is preferred, with training provided. Starting pay is $17.00/hour, with a $500 signing/retention bonus and a $100 monthly perfect attendance award.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Prefer experience in material handling, inventory, warehouse, or electronics manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Ability to identify and distinguish similar part numbers and electronic components.
• Basic computer, math, and data-entry skills.
• Ability to use counting scales, reel counters, scanners, and inventory systems after training.

Responsibilities

• Unload and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, invoices, and packing slips.
• Inspect electronic components for damage and correct part numbers/serial numbers.
• Use counting scales, reel counters, and scanners to verify quantities.
• Identify and count components stored in reels, trays, tubes, etc.
• Maintain accurate labeling and traceability of components.
• Package components in anti-static bags and appropriate packaging to prevent damage.
• Follow ESD controls and moisture/temperature handling guidelines.
• Follow FIFO inventory practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
