Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support repair and upgrade of complex electronic products. You will set up and maintain production lines, help design test fixtures, and assist technicians in diagnosing and repairing systems to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will lead line equipment setup, troubleshoot issues, collect repair data, and provide feedback to improve product design and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with the design or manufacturing of microprocessor- or microcontroller-based products is required.
• Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment is ideal.
• Experience developing automated test systems is preferred but not required.
• Experience in component-level troubleshooting and repair of electronic products is strongly preferred.
• Strong safety awareness and careful adherence to lab/manufacturing safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup of new production line equipment used to test, repair, and upgrade electronic products.
• Assist in the design, construction, and maintenance of test fixtures and test systems, including hardware, software, and mechanical components as needed.
• Troubleshoot product failures and perform root-cause analysis on electronics returned from customer facilities.
• Collect repair data and maintain accurate repair records and databases.
• Provide feedback to product development teams regarding design corrections and product enhancements.
• Assist in developing and documenting troubleshooting and repair protocols.
• Perform repairs on returned devices in accordance with established quality and safety standards.
• Mentor operations and repair technicians and provide technical guidance.
