Job summary

Metron seeks an Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to own the electronics production process from prototype through high-volume manufacturing. You will bridge design and production by supporting PCB design, building and maintaining test infrastructure, understanding device firmware, troubleshooting issues on the line, and serving as the primary technical liaison with our contract manufacturers.

This role is critical for ensuring high yield, quality, and scalability while driving root-cause

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in IoT/electronics hardware.
• Strong DFMs and PCBA manufacturing knowledge.
• Experience with manufacturing test equipment and fixture development.
• Familiarity with data analysis/visualization tools (Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Own electronics production process from prototype to high-volume manufacturing.
• Liaise with contract manufacturers for PCBA and DFM reviews; drive process optimization.
• Lead RCA and CAPA to improve yield and reduce cycle time.
• Develop and maintain test plans, fixtures, and test systems for QA.
• Collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Manufacturing to release new products and integrate systems.
