Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies (ABT) in Mesa, AZ, is seeking an Engineering Intern for a limited fall term. This role offers hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing, assisting with production projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work about 20 hours per week from September through December, supporting engineering, quality, and production teams, and gaining practical exposure to tooling design, process improvements, and ROI studies.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in college engineering program (junior or senior preferred).
• Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and MS Office.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help develop, improve and revise manufacturing processes.
• Help design and implement tooling and fixtures for effective manufacturing.
• Help analyze failures and troubleshoot to improve test yields.
• Support purchasing, quality, test, and production departments to ensure product integrity is maintained.
• Support cost justification studies and ROI for capital equipment.
• Create and update work instructions.
• Support SOW development for equipment implementation and validation.
