Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies invites applications for a Quality Engineer Intern in Mesa, AZ. The 20-hour-per-week role runs from September 14 through December 11 and offers hands-on exposure to quality activities in purchasing, inspection, and product launch processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Science Engineering or related quality field.
• Strong problem solving, statistical and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Available to work at least 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist Quality Engineers in identifying process and product improvements.
• Provide administrative support to Quality Department team members.
• Create receiving work instructions for incoming product.
• Create quality plans to cascade customer requirements to manufacturing and suppliers.
• Review FPI, FAI, Delta FPI, Delta FAI and qualification reports.
• Establish PFMEAs.
• Support implementation of the Keyence system for defect improvement.
• Contribute to COPQ analysis and improvement projects.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
