Job summary

Methode Electronics Inc. is seeking a Lab Technician to perform testing as per customer specifications and ISO 17025 requirements in Rolling Meadows, IL. The successful candidate will utilize various laboratory equipment and ensure proper documentation and compliance with quality systems.

A technical degree in electronics and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience are required. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a relevant field.
• Capable of recording, verifying, and reporting test data.
• Experience in detailed instructions per customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing as instructed or specified per customer and/or ISO 17025 requirements.
• Use of force meters, torque meters, and other mechanical testing equipment.
• Maintains workplace cleanliness and performs routine maintenance on test equipment.

Skills

Testing as instructed per customer

Use of multimeters and other electrical equipment

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)

Mechanical fixture assembly

Ability to work independently
