Job summary

Actalent in Buffalo Grove, IL is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Test Technician to join a dedicated reliability test lab. You will set up and run tests per formal plans, collect data, and create clear reports to support product reliability.

Qualifications

• Assc/engineering or electronics degree required or equivalent experience.
• 1-2+ years product testing in a technical environment.
• Experience in a test lab with electro-mechanical sub-systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow test plans to set up, run, and monitor tests on electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and components.
• Test gears, motors, mechanisms and moving parts used in printing equipment.
• Use multimeters and oscilloscopes to take measurements and verify performance.
• Collect and document test data accurately, and summarize results in reports.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to communicate findings and support reliability.
