Job summary

SGS is seeking a technician to perform laboratory testing of electrical and electronic products following approved procedures and standards. After training, you will operate instrumentation, monitor tests, and document results for review by engineers and customers.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and adherence to safety and quality requirements. Entry-level candidates are welcome, with position-specific training provided.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in electronics, electrical engineering technology, telecommunications, instrumentation, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Basic understanding of electrical and electronic principles.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow technical instructions and controlled procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing of electrical and electronic products in accordance with approved procedures, standards and regulations.
• Operate laboratory instrumentation, automated test systems, test-control software, after training.
• Monitor products during testing and identify anomalies, faults or unsafe conditions.
• Document test configurations, observations and results in required systems and templates.
• Communicate testing status and observations to engineers, reviewers and customers.
