Job summary

MSA Safety in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a hands-on Engineering Technician focused on EMC, EMI, and ESD testing for our electronic safety products. You will participate in the product development lifecycle, performing tests and preparing reports.

You will set up test equipment, document results, and help ensure ISO/IEC 17025 compliance while collaborating with engineers and external labs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology preferred.
• Experience with EMC/EMI/ESD testing in a lab environment is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Support EMC, EMI, and ESD testing throughout product development lifecycle.
• Set up, execute, and document EMC tests per international standards.
• Assist engineering teams with troubleshooting EMC-related issues.
• Operate and maintain EMC test equipment and software tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party labs to plan and complete tests.
• Prepare test plans, test reports, and regulatory documentation.
• Support ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation activities.
