Job summary

SGS is seeking an on-site Laboratory Technician in Suwanee, GA to perform electrical/electronic product testing according to approved procedures and standards. You will prepare configurations, operate testing equipment, record results, and communicate findings to the team.

Training is provided, and prior EMC lab experience is not required. The role emphasizes attention to detail, ability to work independently or in a team, and ongoing competency development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in electronics, electrical engineering technology, telecommunications, instrumentation, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Basic understanding of electrical and electronic principles.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow technical instructions and controlled procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing of electrical and electronic products following approved procedures and standards.
• Prepare test configurations and operate lab instrumentation and software.
• Document test results with accurate configurations and observations.
• Verify calibration and perform basic troubleshooting of test setups.
