Belcan Corporation in Irvine, CA seeks a Quality Inspector 3 to perform in-process and final inspection of electronic assemblies. You will use precision measuring tools to verify conformance to IPC-A-610 and related specs, and document defect rates and serial numbers.

1st shift, full-time position with benefits and on-the-job training. Required is a high school diploma or GED with 3–6 years of related electronics inspection experience; J-STD-001 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence in English.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspection tasks.

Responsibilities

• Examines layout and installation of wiring, cables and subassemblies to detect errors.
• Performs in-process and final inspection using precision measuring devices.
• Witnesses in process and acceptance testing of assemblies and systems.
• Records inspection data including serial numbers and defect rates.
• Performs light housekeeping and keeps work area clean.
