Job summary
A leading technology company located in California is seeking an In-Process Inspector to ensure product quality through detailed inspections. The successful candidate will adhere to ESD requirements, verify compliance with standards, and document inspection results. Candidates should have a high school diploma, with 2+ years in electronics manufacturing preferred, and must demonstrate strong attention to detail and teamwork skills. Certification to IPC standards is desirable.
Qualifications
Ability to apply IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and IPC-600 standard requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in electronics manufacturing with a focus on quality inspection.
Responsibilities
Perform in-process inspection on products being processed.
Ensure adherence to ESD requirements and verify process compliance.
Inspect and approve incoming materials.
Skills
Ability to apply IPC-A-610 standard requirements
Ability to apply J-STD-001 standard requirements
Ability to apply IPC-600 standard requirements
Written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer skills
Knowledge of interpretation of designated specifications
High attention to detail
Sense of urgency, successful at meeting deadlines
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Monitor processes, materials, or surroundings
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years minimum, electronics manufacturing experience preferred
Experience with measuring devices
Experience with automated measuring equipment is a plus
Certification to IPC-600, IPC-610 & J-STD-001 is a plus
Experience with GD & T is a plus
Tools
Measuring devices (calipers, pin gauges, etc.)
Automated measuring equipment (SmartScope, CMM)
