Job summary

Accelevation LLC seeks an Electronics Hardware Engineer to design PCBs, bring-up hardware, and support testing and troubleshooting on-site in Miamisburg, OH. The role requires hands-on circuit design, multi‑layer PCB layout, MCU/processor experience, external memory, and Altium Designer proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 3–5 years electronics hardware design experience.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Experience with boards containing microcontrollers/ processors and external memory.
• Knowledge of high‑speed routing, impedance control, and signal integrity.

Responsibilities

• Design analog, digital, power supply, and communication circuits.
• Create schematics and multi-layer PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
• Design processor and microcontroller boards with external SDRAM, DDR, Flash, and memory.
• Route high‑speed signals with impedance control, length matching, and proper termination.
• Create and maintain schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and component libraries.
• Select components and prepare bills of materials.
• Define PCB stackups, grounding, routing, and design rules.
• Review designs for signal and power integrity, EMI/EMC, and manufacturability.
• Generate manufacturing files and support PCB fabrication/assembly.
• Bring up, test, troubleshoot, and validate prototype boards.
• Develop test procedures and document results.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
