Job summary

You will assist other technicians, use test equipment and schematics, interface with customer agencies professionally, perform preventative maintenance, and maintain safety standards on the job site. This is a safety sensitive position.

Qualifications

• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions, prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, meet deadlines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical material.
• Literate in computer usage.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist other Field Technicians in setting up, installing and initiating the operations and servicing of equipment.
• Test, repair and troubleshoot equipment using manuals, test equipment, hand tools, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Interface with customer agency in a professional manner.
• Identify and analyze equipment malfunctions, replace spares, troubleshoot faults and repair modules.
• Use test equipment and tools to test, rework and maintain equipment.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities.
• Perform preventative maintenance as directed.
• Adhere to safety procedures and participate in safety programs.
