Job summary

Bowhead seeks an Engineering Technician (Electronics Technician) to bridge hardware engineering with basic network and digital troubleshooting on a high-visibility DoD contract at Dahlgren. Role includes testing, configuring, and troubleshooting embedded systems and GUI software, with 20% travel.

We hire at ET4/ET5/ET6 levels; ET4 starts at $46.96/hr and ET5 at $56.81/hr. Security clearance (Secret) required, US citizenship essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years of full-time DoD engineering technician experience.
• 7+ years hands-on testing and troubleshooting of electronic systems.
• Experience reading, editing, and creating electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Set up electronic test environments and verify wiring harnesses.
• Integrate electronic payloads and sensors for manned/unmanned platforms.
• Provide technical feedback to HW IPTs on design flaws and hardware iterations.
• Verify electrical interfaces and signal integrity; inspect components.
• Assist Network Technician with basic network address assignments and software loads.
