Job summary

Actalent seeks an Electronics Engineer to design and develop PCBs for unmanned aircraft systems. You will own hardware lifecycle from requirements through production release, collaborating with firmware, manufacturing, and test teams in a fast-paced, integrated environment.

You will design power, flight, and payload electronics, focusing on manufacturability for production volumes while ensuring EMI/EMC and testability are built in from the start.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of PCB design experience with documented products.
• Experience with multi-layer PCB layouts and impedance control.
• Strong analog and digital circuit design fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design schematics and multi-layer PCB layouts for flight, power, and payload electronics.
• Own the hardware development lifecycle from requirements to production release.
• Select components based on cost, lead time, and obsolescence risk.
• Design battery management circuitry and motor-drive electronics.
• Perform prototype bring-up, debugging, validation, and production readiness.
