Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to evaluate how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics engineering work. You bring the judgment you have built over years of designing, debugging, and shipping hardware.

This role focuses on teaching AI to reason about circuits, systems, and physical constraints, with your written rationale shaping the next generation of engineering tools and applications.

Qualifications

• Fluent English (native or bilingual).
• 2+ years in circuit/electronics engineering.
• Background in electrical/electronics engineering or related discipline.
• Strong ability to defend component- and system-level decisions.
• Ability to articulate why an answer is wrong, not just that it is.
• Comfort with AI tools or ability to pick them up quickly.
• Bachelor’s preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, realistic engineering problems from your practice.
• Run problems through frontier AI models and judge outputs to your standards.
• Compare two model versions on identical prompts and identify which performed better.
