Saab, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Commodity Management Professional to lead strategic sourcing for electronics across North America and beyond.

The role focuses on developing category strategies, supplier evaluations, and cost reduction through data-driven decisions and market intelligence. Ideal candidates have a strong electronics background, 8+ years in sourcing, and proven leadership and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 8+ years with a BA/BS, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree, in Sourcing or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong financial acumen related to sourcing and supply chain.
• Strong electronics technical background.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity category strategies to drive value in Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, and Sustainability.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and award of first-time contracts across multiple business units.
• Manage approved supplier list for electronics commodities.
• Support win business by vetting and onboarding critical suppliers.
• Analyze data to understand the supply base and market trends.
• Perform market research and assess risks and opportunities in electronics.
