Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Engineering required.
• 8+ years with a BA/BS, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree, in Sourcing or SCM.
• Strong financial acumen related to sourcing and supply chain.
• Strong electronics technical background.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity category strategies to drive value in Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, and Sustainability.
• Lead identification, evaluation, negotiation, and award of first-time contracts for new suppliers.
• Manage approved supplier list for electronics commodities.
• Support supply chain during win business processes by vetting critical suppliers.
• Analyze data to understand the supply base and commodity categories.
• Perform market research and analyze trends for electronics categories.
• Identify risks and opportunities via SWOT and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with Saab affiliates to determine future needs; create adaptable supply chains.
• Lead supplier evaluations to understand suppliers’ capabilities and processes.
• Conduct spend analyses to identify cost reduction opportunities and drive initiatives.
• Participate in QBRs for critical suppliers to manage performance.
• Support Small Business objectives and promote a diverse supply base.
• Develop supplier evaluation and scoring systems for data-driven decisions.
• Develop/modify SOPs and work instructions.
