Collins Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Assembly Solder Technician III for the 1st shift to assemble and repair electronic units. You will read engineering prints, select correct parts, and solder components using standard techniques while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires a HS diploma (or equivalent) with 2+ years of relevant experience and offers comprehensive benefits. This onsite position supports production with a focus on precision and documentation.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work 1st shift: Mon-Fri, 6:00am–2:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and repair a variety of electronic units using prescribed repair techniques.
• Identify correct parts, components, wires, and materials needed for assembly and repair.
• Solder electronic components using industry-standard techniques and tools.
• Remove suspect and failed components and install new components accurately.
• Operate assembly machines and ensure proper functioning.
• Measure, mix, and apply chemicals and adhesives according to safety and operational guidelines.
• Read and interpret technical data including component maintenance manuals, assembly instructions, and engineering prints.
• Communicate work status to team members and support staff, ensuring seamless workflow.
• Document clear and concisely and maintain accurate records.
• Utilize computer skills and office software applications.
• 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00am - 2:30 pm.
