Job summary

HEICO in Coral Gables, FL is seeking an entry-level PC Assembler II to support production lines by preparing boards, gathering parts and tools, and performing soldering and mechanical assembly under standard procedures.

You will read drawings, inspect assemblies, identify defects, and learn new tasks on the job while maintaining a safe, clean work environment. This role requires basic dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work with teammates across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with soldering iron and lead trimming.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare boards to be assembled by studying work instructions, procedures, blueprint specifications, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Assemble and inspect assemblies under magnification in accordance with standardized processes, procedures and methods.
• Perform PC board assembly and soldering, mechanical assembly and inspection with minimal supervision.
• Complete adjustments or replacements of component parts.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications or written instructions.
• Recognize subtle functional problems, defective parts or other abnormalities.
• Handle various types of assemblies and learn new assembly tasks as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
