Job summary

You will read drawings, interpret specifications, and ensure quality while maintaining a clean work area. Soldering skills are preferred, and you will learn new assembly tasks as needed to meet production goals.

• Read and interpret drawings and written instructions.
• Must be quality conscious and able to meet production and quality standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Prepare boards for assembly by studying work instructions, procedures, blueprints and gathering parts and tools.
• Assemble and inspect assemblies under magnification following standardized processes and methods.
• Perform adjustments or replacements of component parts.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications or written instructions.
• Identify subtle functional problems or defective parts.
• Learn and perform any new assembly task as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment by following procedures and regulations.
• Soldering using a soldering iron; lead trimming skills are preferred.
