Job summary

Novanta in Rocklin, CA is seeking an Assembler I to assemble products to specifications, ensuring quality standards are met. You will read work instructions, BOMs and assembly drawings, and operate hand tools safely.

This role emphasizes lean manufacturing, basic ESD/5S knowledge, and teamwork in a high-precision environment. The base pay is $18 per hour with potential bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Team player with strong computer, written and verbal skills.
• Experience with opto-electronics and PCB commodities is preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma environments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products according to specifications and drawings.
• Read, understand, and adhere to work instructions, BOMs, and assembly drawings.
• Operate hand tools safely and properly.
• Inspect products and identify non-conformance.
• Use pass/fail test equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness and SS standards at workstation.
• Follow site waste disposal requirements.
