Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking detailed and experienced Technicians to join our electronics assembly team, supporting the building of advanced hardware in a cleanroom environment.

You will solder, wire bond, wire cabling, and assemble electronics for semiconductor systems, working with engineers and using inspection and calibration to ensure quality. Must obtain a government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a 2 year technical school or applicable years of experience.
• Two years of technical education plus two years of experience or four years of experience total.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory and equipment with limited supervision.
• Operates complex equipment in the production of hardware using complex manual skills with training and limited supervision.
• Documents work consistent with unit policy with limited supervision.
• Performs focused training to enable progression into higher skilled positions at the discretion of the supervisor.
• Other temporary assignments at the discretion of the supervisor.
