Job summary

The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc. in Cambridge, MA is seeking detail-oriented Technicians to join our electronics assembly team.

You will build advanced hardware, from hand soldering components to wire bonding in a cleanroom environment, supporting engineers and project goals. Responsibilities include assembling electronics for semiconductor systems, operating tools and maintaining equipment, and progressing through training to higher skilled roles.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a 2 year technical school or applicable years of experience.
• Two years of applicable education and two years of applicable experience or four years of applicable experience.
• Applicants selected will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronics for semiconductor systems, CCA and wire cabling/harnessing.
• Perform hand soldering, wire bonding, and other work in cleanroom/lab environment.
• Operate tools and equipment including basic maintenance and calibration.
• Documents work with limited supervision and follows unit policy.
• Training to enable progression into higher skilled positions as directed by supervisor.
