Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA, seeks a Tech B to execute test processes, assist engineers, and ensure strict adherence to procedures. You will clean, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment with supervision, contributing to hardware production.

Ideal candidates graduate from a 2-year technical school or have 2 years of applicable experience, can document work precisely, and are willing to obtain a government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a 2 year technical school or have 2 years of applicable experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic lab equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning, maintenance, and/or calibration of laboratory equipment with limited supervision.
• Operates moderately complex hardware production equipment with training and supervision.
• Documents work in accordance with policy with limited supervision.
• Provides focused training to progress to higher skilled positions as directed by supervisor.
• Undertakes other temporary assignments as directed by supervisor.
