Job summary

V2X in Indianapolis is seeking an Electronics Worker I (2nd shift) to support the Modernization and Sustainment site. You will perform circuit card, cable and harness, and chassis assembly, following detailed instructions and production routings, and operate soldering and related equipment.

Candidates should read schematics, perform through-hole and surface-mount soldering, and manage component prep with IPC standards in mind.

Qualifications

Read process routings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Proficient in soldering and cable assembly techniques.
Knowledge of electronic components handling.
Familiarity with IPC standards preferred.
Basic computer skills and data collection for SPC.

Responsibilities

Follows detailed written and verbal instructions, process routings, wiring diagrams, and production planning documents.
Performs board and component preparation, soldering (through-hole and surface mount), and touch-up.
Operates machines for soldering, desoldering, pressing, shaping, winding, and placing components.
Conducts in-process self-checks and prepares assemblies for formal inspection and testing.
May assist with conformal coating, potting, encapsulating, and other intermediate assembly tasks.
Maintains a clean and organized work area and follows safety procedures.
