Job summary

Stellar Technology, Inc. seeks a full-time assembler with wiring and soldering expertise in Amherst, NY. You will wire strain gauges, install electrical modules, and perform PCB soldering (through-hole and surface mount) while inspecting your work against drawings and specs.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years related experience, basic computer skills, and strong dexterity. ITAR restricted: US citizens etc. EOE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• J Standard Certification within the first year of employment.
• 3–5 years wiring strain gauge or assembly experience on one product type.
• Able to learn basic technical concepts and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Wire to strain gauges and electronic components.
• Install electrical modules and perform simple mechanical assembly.
• Solder through-hole and surface-mount components on PCBs.
• Inspect own work and perform basic electrical checks with precision instruments.
• Follow detailed drawings and production control documents.
• Maintain data entry for production reporting and attendance.
• Follow safety and waste disposal procedures and participate in continual improvement.
