Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• 2-5 years of prior experience in electronics or related field required.
• Strong familiarity and ability to read and interpret cable drawings, interconnects, and specification drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to solder per IPC-J-STD-001 in wiring assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Build cable and various electronic assemblies while ensuring compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
• Identify and document quality issues and collaborate with engineers to eliminate drawing errors.
• Read and interpret cable drawings to guide assembly.
• Use soldering iron in assembly work following IPC-J-STD-001.
• Inspect/test assemblies using test fixtures and multimeters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce defects and improve processes.
• Suggest and drive process improvements to meet lean manufacturing goals.
• Operate electronic test equipment to verify assemblies.
