Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Amherst Systems in Buffalo, NY is seeking an Assembler 2 to join our diverse team. You will perform precise soldering under a stereo zoom microscope, assemble circuit cards, wire harnesses and small RF components according to diagrams and work instructions.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED with electronics experience (or an Associate degree), soldering skills, and the ability to lift up to 10 pounds. U.S.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 2 years of assembly or electronic experience, or an Associate degree in an electronic/technical discipline.
• Soldering experience in manufacturing/assembly tasks under a metric-based environment.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to lift up to 10 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform fine pitch soldering under stereo zoom microscope.
• Assemble circuit cards, wire harnesses, RF components per drawings and work instructions.
• Conduct continuity checks on in-process and completed work; assist quality inspections.
• Work across Manufacturing areas (CCA, MPC, ECA/Rack, or Magnetics) as needed.
