Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Northampton, MA is seeking an Electronics Assembler for the 2nd shift. You will perform a range of assembly and wiring tasks from engineering drawings, including electrical and microwave circuits, electro-optical and mechanical systems.

The role requires reading blueprints, crimping, soldering, and wiring harnesses. Candidates should have a high school diploma or associates degree with related experience, and be able to obtain a DoD secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, or 2-year post-secondary with 4 years related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, operation data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Perform bench builds of wire assemblies from drawings and schematics.
• Assemble cables, harnesses, PCBs and chassis wiring.
• Crimp, solder, weave harnesses, and assemble components to specifications.
• Maintain production records and clean, organized work area.
• Follow safety rules and use PPE as required.
• Maintain knowledge of wiring diagrams and assembly instructions.
