Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Northampton, MA seeks an Electronics Assembler for the 2nd shift. You will read blueprints and schematics to assemble wiring, harnesses, PCB cards and mechanical subassemblies, performing bench builds with attention to quality and safety.

The role requires lifting 30-50 lbs, sitting/standing up to 10 hours, and eligibility to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. IPC 620 and J-STD 001 certifications are preferred, with a robust benefits package included.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets assembly instructions, drawings and schematics
• Understands wiring diagrams and uses PCB knowledge
• Able to assemble and wire electrical/microwave/mechanical subassemblies

Responsibilities

• Assemble wire harnesses and circuits per instructions
• Crimp, solder, mount components and perform bench builds
• Maintain production records and clean work area
• Follow safety rules and use PPE as required
• Possess ability to sit/stand for long periods and lift 30-50 lbs
