Job summary

Merco & Frymaster seeks an Assembler Temp to Perm to assemble electronic components per product specs, reading blueprints, using tools, and complying with quality standards. The role focuses on circuit boards and devices, with attention to safety, 5S, and on-time delivery.

You will work standing for long periods, operate wrenches, drills, grinders, tube bending, and measurement devices, and collaborate with Engineering/R&D for new assemblies. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Blueprint reading knowledge.
• Standing and/or walking for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Use of wrenches, drills, power grinders, tube bending, cutters, pneumatic screw guns, and other hand tools.
• Ability to work mandatory overtime.
• PPE required.
• 0% travel.
• Direct reports: none.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components and devices per orders and blueprints.
• Follow safety and 5S practices; maintain cleanliness and part presentation.
• Operate tools and measuring devices to ensure specifications are met.
• Check parts for fit, alignment, and electrical specs.
• Report equipment issues and adherence to safety rules.
• Coordinate with Engineering/R&D for new assemblies.
