Job summary

Jiffy Lube International, Inc. in Garland, TX is seeking an SMT Operator for 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:30pm, Mon-Fri). Pay rate is $18.00-$23/hr depending on experience. The role requires hands-on SMT setup and operation with PCB assembly, screen printers, pick and place, reflow ovens, and AOI equipment.

Certification in IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 is a plus. Work location is in person in Garland, TX. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Requires SMT operator experience.
• Familiar with PCB assembly and SMT equipment (screen printers, pick and place, reflow ovens, AOI).
• IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform component feeder operation and setup.
• Perform solder paste stencil printing and stencil printer operation.
• Operate reflow oven.
• Identify surface mount components.
• Load machine programs and adjust for solder paste print and placement.
• Read and understand assembly BOM.
• Maintain good communication.
• Troubleshoot basic machines.
• Operate equipment to meet daily production requirements.
• Verify quality to standards.
• Set up, operate and manage SMT line.
• Apply IPC-A-610 standards to improve process.
• Use IPC J-STD-001 certification where applicable.

Job Title: SMT OPERATOR

Location: Garland, TX 75041

Hours: 2nd Shift: (3:00pm-11:30pm) Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $23/hr (Depending on Experience)

Looking for motivated individuals with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) operation set up experience. Candidate should be familiar with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly particularly working with SMT equipment such as screen printers, pick and place machines, reflow ovens, and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines.

An understanding of the SMT Assembly Process is required which includes the identification of SMT component packages.

Certification in IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 is a plus.
