Job summary

Frequency Electronics, Inc. is seeking an entry-level SMT assembler to join our electronics manufacturing team. The successful candidate will assemble and inspect PCBAs and work with SMT equipment; on-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities include operating stencil printers, pick-and-place machines and reflow ovens, reading engineering drawings, and maintaining quality with attention to detail. This onsite role offers room for growth into SMT operation or manufacturing support.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer and written skills are required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Able to handle small electronic components and read instructions.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience with IPC-A-610 is beneficial.
• Basic soldering experience is a plus.

• Support on-the-job training and learning new SMT tasks.
• Read and interpret assembly documents and drawings.

Job description

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level SMT Assembler to join our electronics manufacturing team.

The successful candidate will responsible for assembly, inspection, of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). Previous SMT/manufacturing experience is helpful but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.

The candidate ability to sit or stand for extended periods and to lift up to 25 pounds. Operate basic production equipment safely and efficiently. Stencil Pinter, Pick and Place machine, Reflow oven, PCBA.s clean machine. Comfortable using microscopes or magnification equipment. Plus other assembly tools and able to read and interpret assembly documents and engineering drawings.

Education and Required Skills
