Pioneer Circuits, Inc. is seeking an Assembly SMT Operator in California. You will operate and monitor SMT production equipment, perform hand placement, rework SMT boards, and assemble cables and mechanical PCBs for high-quality assemblies.
Ideal candidates have 2+ years of SMT experience, read customer drawings, and understand J-STD-001/IPC-610. Must be able to read SOPs and work instructions and communicate in English. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

The Assembly SMT Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining SMT production equipment used in the assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs) such as Pick & Place, Screen Printer, AOI, X-Ray machines etc. This role ensures high-quality electronic assemblies by following standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements. Performs assembly using a combination of SMT and through-hole parts, reworking SMT boards, assembling cables and mechanical assembly of Printed Circuit Assemblies.
Please note that in addition to frequent standing and walking, the work environment requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 25 pounds; as well as repetitive hand and finger motion.
California Pay Range: $19 USD - $23 USD
The actual compensation offered is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
