Overview
To support the Company’s financial operations by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, invoicing, and credit activities. This position is responsible for maintaining compliance with corporate reporting requirements, supporting month‑end close processes, and assisting in asset tracking, while contributing to the overall efficiency and integrity of financial operations.
Pay Range: $62K - $68K annually
Location: Wellford, SC
Education
Education: Associate’s Degree in Accounting required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred or a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong SAP skills required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office software applications.
- Proficient in general office operations, including computers and office equipment.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, along with good organizational abilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain assigned accounts payable, daily shipments, and invoicing.
- Prepare and submit month‑end close information accurately to Corporate.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for pre‑pay and add shipments for invoicing purposes.
- Assist in evaluating and approving customer credit terms and credit limits.
- Generate and approve credit memos as needed.
- Assist with tracking fixed asset changes (acquisitions, disposals, trades, sales).
- Maintain a credit report acceptable to SEW‑EURODRIVE.
