Job summary

Continental Electronics Corporation is seeking an Assembler for the second shift to perform diverse electronic and mechanical assembly tasks. You will solder, route, and secure wiring into subassemblies such as panels and cabinets, using a range of hand and specialty tools while ensuring high quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in related wiring assembly, experience with electromechanical panel wiring, and the ability to follow technical drawings and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years related wiring assembly experience.
• Experience with electromechanical panel wiring, cabinet wiring, PLCs onto panel enclosures, wire routing.
• Ability to follow technical drawings and assembly instructions and processes to assemble cables to manufacturing and industry specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diverse electronic or mechanical production assembly tasks meeting high quality expectations.
• Solder, assemble, route and secure wiring/cables into subassemblies such as panels and cabinets.
• Work with hand tools and specialty tools as required.
• Perform rework resulting from drawing change notices.
• Cross-train as back-up in other areas of the manufacturing plant.
• Develop working knowledge of the production environment.
