Job summary

Allient Inc. in Germantown, Wisconsin is seeking a Panel Wirer to assemble and wire filter panel units using hand and power tools.

The role involves reading schematics, layout, mounting components, and testing to ensure both electrical and mechanical specs are met. The candidate will work on 2nd shift (2pm to 10pm) with potential OT, perform diverse assembly tasks, interpret test procedures, and ensure ES D sensitive processes are followed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of steady work experience in similar panel wiring roles.
• Read and understand 3-way Dimensional Drawings, Schematic Drawings, Blueprints, and Work Orders
• Write production information/data/testing reports
• Read and interpret measurements using rulers, calipers in English units; use of DMM, Oscilloscope
• 2nd Shift; Work hours 2pm–10pm Monday–Friday; OT may be required

Responsibilities

• Layout panels and enclosures per drawings, mounting components and testing for electrical/mechanical specs
• Select wire gauges/colors per schematic and wire panel; cut/strip/crimp ends
• Perform diversified assembly operations of various size coils and units
• Read and interpret test procedures; torque connections and verify with tools
• Test modules using heat sink, Variac power source, current and temperature measurements, oscilloscope waveforms
• Troubleshoot and fix problems; comply with 600 V safety requirements
